Discover our wide selection of steel discs, with and without adhesive. Perfectly suited for magnets, crafts, DIY projects, and industrial applications. Explore your creative or practical potential with our versatile, high-quality steel discs. For best results, we recommend using a steel disc/plate slightly larger than the magnet itself.
Steel Discs and Neodymium Magnets
Steel discs are popular in premium product packaging, corrugated boxes, and other scrapbook/paper crafts. Using one magnet and one steel disc/plate instead of two magnets both saves on cost and makes installation easier as you don't have to match up the north and south poles of the opposing magnets. They can also work well with craft projects and figurine building. For more information, read our article “How are steel strike plates and magnets used most effectively?.”
Thin, Precision Ground
Our steel discs are thin, generally only about 1mm thick unless other noted, and made with high quality steel for long-lasting performance. There are no rough edges, and the sizes are reliable and consistent between batches. The steel is coated in Nickel to help prevent corrosion.
Printing Industry Uses
Metal discs, when combined with strong magnets, function as a fastener in premium printing and product packaging. Metal discs can be affixed onto presentation cases, folders, or boxes. When the flap or lid is shut, the magnet adheres to the metal disc, ensuring closure. Additionally, these discs can be inconspicuously integrated and encapsulated during the product's assembly.
